Beyond follow-up

Custom agents for the work nobody wants to do

Follow-up is where most businesses start. It is rarely where they stop. If a process is repetitive, rule-based, and eating your team's week, it can usually be an agent.

  • We map the workflow and the exception paths
  • You define guardrails and escalation points
  • Every action logged in your systems

What "autonomous" actually means

An autonomous agent carries out a multi-step process end to end rather than answering a single prompt. It reads context, decides the next step inside rules you set, acts in your systems, and hands off to a human where you told it to.

It is not magic and it is not a chatbot. It is a documented process, executed the same way every time, at 2am, forever.

Where it fits

Processes that make good agents

Intake, qualification, routing

Every inbound captured, qualified against your criteria, and sent to the right person or queue.

Quoting, scheduling, dispatch

Estimates built from your rules, jobs placed on the right calendar, crews notified automatically.

Recalls and reactivation

Dormant customers worked on a schedule so revenue you already earned does not quietly disappear.

Review requests

Asked at the right moment, in the right channel, without anyone remembering to send it.

Reporting and escalation

The numbers that matter compiled and pushed to you, with exceptions flagged to a human.

Whatever is eating the week

If you can write the decision logic down, it can usually be built. Tell us the process.

How we scope it

We will tell you when AI is the wrong answer

Not every process should be an agent. Some are too low-volume to justify the build. Some change so often the agent would need rebuilding every month. Some need a human by law or by judgment.

We would rather scope it honestly than sell you something that quietly fails in month three and costs you trust with your own team.

  • Volume and ROI checked before we build anything
  • You approve behavior and escalation rules
  • Humans stay in the loop where it counts

FAQ

Custom agent questions

What is an autonomous AI agent?
An autonomous AI agent is software that carries out a multi-step business process end to end rather than answering a single prompt. It reads context, decides what to do next within rules you define, takes action in your systems, and escalates to a human at the points you specify.
What processes make good agents?
The best candidates are repetitive, rule-based, high-volume, and currently eating a person's week. Common examples are lead intake and routing, quoting and scheduling, dispatch coordination, review requests, recall and reactivation campaigns, and internal reporting. If the decision logic can be written down, it can usually be an agent.
When is AI the wrong answer?
When volume is too low to justify the build cost, when the process changes constantly so the agent would need rebuilding every month, or when a human is required by law or by judgment. We check volume and ROI before building, and we will say so if the numbers do not support it.
How much control do I keep?
You define the behavior, the guardrails, and the escalation points, and you approve them before launch. The agent does not act outside those rules, and every action is logged in your systems so you can audit what it did and why.
How long does a custom agent take to build?
It depends entirely on the process. A narrow, well-documented workflow can go live in a couple of weeks. A process that spans several systems and has many exception paths takes longer, because most of the work is mapping the exceptions rather than writing the agent.
